Cornelia UMC is fortunate to have Pastor Lorena Ortiz as the leader of our Hispanic Congregation, which gathers on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am in the chapel. The Hispanic Congregation meets on the first, third, fourth, and any fifth Sundays of each month. On the second Sundays, all members come together in the sanctuary to partake in Holy Communion as a unified congregation. Following the Second Sunday service, there is usually a communal meal held in the Fellowship Hall, providing an opportunity for fellowship and community building. All individuals, regardless of background or beliefs, are warmly invited to participate in this inclusive and welcoming service.
